Cruise ship companies get a $28 million tax break

$27 million tax break to encourage foreigners to gamble at U.S. horse and dog racetracks and $9 million in tax breaks to U.S. makers of bows and arrows.

Excise taxes reduced from 10 percent to 3 percent on fishing tackle boxes.

A $234 million tax break for wine, beer and liquor makers.

A $10 billion industry-financed buyout for tobacco farmers.

And of course, tax breaks for natural gas companies and the timber industry (got wood?)

This is the republican answer to record unemployment and job loss. Feed the corporate pigs first. The rest of us get leftover scraps of precious feed from the trough.

If Bush was truly concerned about the state of the economy then his republican cabal should be expected to provide solutions. This is their agenda. Feed the corporate pigs. Trickle down.
