1. I watched it
It was a great comparison - Bush history of politics and slime
Kerry should be proud of his past

3. It just finished here in S.F.
I really, really, really don't want shrub in there again.

He stands for evil, he does evil. Even if he's a "charming guy", his legacy will be evil. I'd like his evil to stop at 4 years!!

Unfortunately, it's on PBS so only a very tiny portion of the electorate will have seen it. I can't imagine anyone seeing this program and believing that shrub is anything but a pale, politician compared to Kerry.

2. Important
This should play over and over. What an exemplary man Kerry is. The contrast with Bush is clear.

It will be a tragedy if the sleazy Bush campaign machine, somehow given a free pass by the media, triumphs over a great American like Kerry.

4. Yep, I watched it
Just goes to show you that we don't need biased partisan spin to make our case. We have the facts on our side, just put it out there completely unbiased and we come ahead every time.

5. helped explain why Kerry voted for that fraud called the Iraq war
For awhile there I was wondering if Kerry was actually duped...
couldn't believe it when they voted...

but to me, in general the demos "laid down" for a long time and still
kind of do in the Senate.

6. It just finished here
Very fair, very balanced. They could have said more damaging things about most candidates. Definitely it would seed doubts about Dubya among those who haven't been paying attention.

I didn't realize that the O'Neeu vs. Kerry feud went that far back.

7. It was done well - all they had to do was tell the truth about Bush
He speaks for himself. The contrast couldn't be more apparent except to Ralph Nader.

8. Saw it. The footage of chimpy going
ballistic against McCain on Larry King is chilling. He's mentally unbalanced.

14. some of the letters were right out of FR...
"You brought out the falsity about Bush's National Guard Service but did not mention anything about Kerry's Treason with going to North Viet Nam during the war to give aid and comfort to the Viet Cong."

Gee, and to think I almost made it through the day without learning something new.

9. Bush = Life long failure
Kerry = Life long hero

It dismayed me some that they portrayed Bush's time with the Texas Rangers as a success. Maybe compared to his oil days, but come on! He purchased his interest in the team with borrowed money and engaged in massive corruption in getting that stadium built. He comes out of it with 10 million in profit when he brought NOTHING in with him.

It's kind of ironic that Bush had no problem with taxes when they helped get a stadium built.

What a despicable human being.

13. Great piece and used Bush's record against him.
It did gloss over some of the controversies, probably due in part to Bush's sorted history and scandals, to many for an in-depth coverage. All in all, it painted a very ugly picture of Shrub.
