Brian Williams to Conan . . .
"Kerry smiling while taking notes, even though the president is creaming him?"

What debate was he watching?

What a elite fool.

3. Another douchebag for liberty...
...is it a sign of criminal insanity when someone wishes to force their delusions upon others?

6. The time I remember Kerry smiling was when
Bush went apeshit and cut off Gibson for his Tony Blair rant. I imagine he could have either smiled or let his jaw drop in amazement, as I did. If that insane rant was Williams' idea of "creaming" someone, then NBC is in trouble. What an incredible moron.

8. GE just hired Williams to be the next Brokaw...GE is making BILLIONS
GE has TRIPLEd their defense contracts under Bushco.

Think GE has an interest in Dim-Son serving another 4 years?

Williams is just GE's new whore.

9. Meet Tom Brokaw's Replacement
I'm just glad they moved this sanctimonious ass off MSNBC.

I can't believe this moran walked onto Conan and said that. How did the audience react? Did Triumph come out to poop on him???

11. when I first saw Brian, I thought 'very broad shoulders in a suit'
that's it....no brains, personality .....

remember the NBC guys before Brokaw??? the 2.....waaay back when network eve news was an hour.......Cronkhite was on CBS

there's documantation that over the years the news part of the networks has been viewed as less and less important.....the bottom line is profits, which networks have defined as coming from entertainment

14. Do you mean Huntley/Brinkley?
They were followed by John Chancellor.

And no, the news was never 1 hour.

12. My family has been an NBC news family since before I was born.
NBC nightly news was a staple in our home from the time I can remember.

The cycle stops when Brokaw retires. I am not watching that smug, reactionary asshole Williams.

I'm shopping for a new anchor.

13. Rejoice, Williams will start the final decline of the big three!
Brokaw is a whore but a polished one. Williams is just another blow-dried, over paid, shill for General Electrics right wing, anti-union agenda. When he steps in for Brokaw, watch that newscast plummet. Brian we hardly knew ye!
