I didn't pick up on the Dred Scott being Roe v. Wade and I was wondering what else I missed. Who was he winking at and what was he talking about? I just thought he had a plant in the audience asking a question.
1. He winked, nodded and/or grinned several times...
... after answering questions in the second debate. I found his rapid change in expression from faux-gravity while answering to grinning simp immediately after to be unsettling -- and distasteful.
I couldn't tell who he was winking at, but it always seemed to be in the same direction -- and it wasn't Charlie Gibson.
5. Naw, he's just a gibbering fool trying to pretend he's liked by audience.
"smile and wink" was probably one of the "closers" Rove told him he can use to alleviate nervousness....fool himself into thinking he's got the croud onside. And he probably picked his doe-eyed wife to wink at....anyone else in the room would have thought "WTF, why's he winking at me?"
7. hopefully this election will stop the "Rove is a genius" garbage
that pundits love to use. In 2000 Rove had a candidate who took a 17-point lead and lost the election by 500,000 votes. He had a president who at one time had a 91% approval rating and now at best is in the mid 40's. If Bush loses it is further proof that KKKarl is a hack.
