"Undecided idiots drifting toward Kerry"
From Freepville, from TONIGHT:

"I'm almost giving up on this election. The undecided idiots just seem to be drifting towards Kerry. I don't get, I am dumbfounded. What I see on TV is apparently different from what most of America is seeing. If the Republicans don't ruthlessly attack Kerry from all sides in the next two debates then Bush will lose, I hate to say. Right now, for the first time, I'm feeling Kerry is going to win. I hope this feeling will pass but recent poll trends are not making me confident."

"Next two debates"? Dude, there aint no more debates. You lost.

7. Hey freeper
the rest of America is seeing your guy for what he is: a murderous, small-minded, lying, thieving son of a bitch.

Some of us just noticed it a lot sooner.

14. They've almost given up. Let's give 'em a chance to get
back in the game and not declare Kerry the winner.

16. Another...
"Kerry could have stabbed an old woman in front of the cameras tonight and the polls would show Kerry still won overwhelmingly."

17. Even better...
"We will get post after post denying these polls based on supposition, wishful thinking and anecdote. The fact is the President' performance was awful. Is it really impossible for him to control his nervous giggle?

The reality is that CNN had a 16 point Kerry advantage after the first debate and we lost 5 points in the national horserace. Now CNN haw us down 13 points.

The truth is the President may have thrown this election away because he cannot control facial expression, eye rolling, posture (first debate) and nervous laugh (second debate). It so sad really because he never had to win, he just had to look presidential and in this task he failed.

After the first debate, I thought it did not matter in the final result and so posted in a vanity but subsequent polls proved me wrong. The race tightened to a tie. But I was correct in expressing the fear that Bush could not afford to let this happen again. He looked presidential in the second debate and then threw it all away tonight.

The question is now what to do? Fight the ground war, of course. He is the President he could shape events but has shown no ability so far to do so. But just more campaigning and hoping for some intervening helpful event to reverse the inevitable growing negative trend in the polls is not a strategy to win."

18. Now Kerry's clock is fixed...
"I think his 2 minutes were longer sometimes. They did not show his timer until near the end of each answer due to his height. But the camera person always seemed to know when to pan back and show that he was in his time, now matter whether he was rambling or giving no clues as to being almost done."

Uh, yeah, OK. Well, I gotta get back to Planet ... Kerry!
