WTF was Bush talking about with outsourcing?

Does he think that the jobs getting outsourced are at McDonalds or washing cars? How the hell is educational assistance going to help people who are highly educated (and still paying off those damn loans) and highly trained already, who's jobs are being outsourced because the company can pay someone in India half as much for the same work? What is he smoking?

That's my answer as your first question is rhetorical and right on the money.

He's bringing in Mexicans to take the low-paying jobs. He's outsourced the tech jobs offshore. He wants people to get educated for other jobs.

not to be too flippant. i honestly think that's the sort of thought that runs through his tangled brain.

i think he believes all white people can own their own businesses--every one of us--if only we got off our lazy asses and enrolled in community college business school. maybe even black people too. and chinese. we'll just let the mexican immigrants be the employees.

we can just buy and sell each other's widgets all day, every day. and shampoo each other's carpets, groom each other's pets. we'll drive to each other's businesses in mexican made SUV's. we'll drill for the oil, and mine for the gold, and pluck the technology from the technology trees. that's the future. that's the twenty-first century, only without the death rays.

The crap coming back six months later from those sites DOES NOT WORK. We need to stomp on the fantasy that the work coming from prison labor in China for 37 cents an houris equal to the highly trained labor available in the US is BS. Their work product does not work.
They meet the literal specifications and no nothing for the functional specifications. The COEs need to be held accountable for sabotaging our workforce and outsourcing our privacy and intellectual property. Why does the CEO make Millions for cutting American jobs? How mutch better would we be paying a third world worker to be CEO?
