Fernando Suarez del Solar (C) and Cindy Sheehan hug during a march for democracy in Tempe, Arizona October 13, 2004. Solar's son Jesus and Sheehan's son Casey, both members of the U.S. military, were killed in Iraq earlier this year. Some 1,000 people took part in the march prior to the start of the debate between U.S. President George W. Bush and Democratic nominee John Kerry at Arizona State University in Tempe.
