Kerry the Decisive Victor in Third Debate

Senator John Kerry scored another decisive victory in the third and final election campaign debate with President George Bush early today.

Polls by CNN, CBS and ABC all gave Mr Kerry the edge in the encounter, which focused mainly on domestic policy.

But a reference by the Democratic Senator to vice-president Dick Cheney’s lesbian daughter was condemned by her mother, Lynne, as a “cheap and tawdry political trick”.

A CNN poll taken immediately after the debate found that 52% of those surveyed believed Mr Kerry was the debate winner, compared to 39% for Mr Bush.

1. MSNBC also saud the candidate with the most momentum after

the debates always goes on to win the election, so everyone is waiting for the after debate polls to confirm the real reaction of the people. Those polls will be out in a few days.
