The time is a week before the GE next November...

Your candidate managed to get it all together and win the nomination, but only after a bruising primary fight. Dubya has made several monumental screwups, and the economy has flattened back out. This race has the pollsters confused, because it's so tight that the lead daily seesaws back and forth between our nominee and Dubya. There are very few who are left undecided, mainly a small percentage of the supporters of Candidate X, who also ran for the Democratic nod and who your candidate trash talked at every opportunity. It appears that they hold the balance of power, the literal power of 'life or death' over our party's nominee.

Was the trash talk worth it, folks? Think about it...

and unite around our best shot in 2004: LaRouche/Traficant.

Otherwise, you are objectively pro-Bush.

9. You are one of the best out of that camp.
How can you square this,

There are very few who are left undecided, mainly a small percentage of the supporters of Candidate X, who also ran for the Democratic nod and who your candidate trash talked at every opportunity.

With your own candidate's behavior?

11. That's the point of the post:
All the candidates (and their supporters here at DU) should take this scenario to heart...

14. Great that Clark isn't trash talking anyone, isn't it?
Of course, there are supporters of every candidate who have opinions that supporters of other candidates might find offensive but, hey, that shouldn't have any effect on how the candidates run their races, right?

Of course, people who beleive that Clark killed babies in Waco or murdered innocents in Kosovo or conspired with Kerry to steal the nomination from the so much more worthy Howard Dean will never see it that way. However, most of them are grown ups and will see through the bull.

Nah, Clark is following the right road.
