Do you know any "undecideds?"

It seems almost ridiculous that some people haven't "made up their minds" yet! Perhaps, the bottom line with these folks is that they lack information.

Ask yourself, knowing what you now know would YOU vote for George Walker Bush? Would you be vacillating in indecision right now? The same is true of John Kerry.

Well. Here's an idea. Point these folks to this PBS Frontline special, "The Choice - 2004." It will answer all their questions.

1.) http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/shows/choice200... /

2.) And, for time and date of this PBS Frontline program, see this url at:
http://www.pbs.org/tvschedules /

There. That was simple.

2. Actually, I do
She doesn't see the implications of a second Bush term - and seems to think the Ten Commandments belong in courthouses - but she also realizes that the economy was better under Clinton and that the Lewinsky B.S. was just that - B.S.

It's not that she's so much undecided as she's not thrilled with either candidate.

I'll send her your links.

3. Many people find it tough to separate truth from SPIN.....
I think that is why 50% don't vote.

5. Yup. Understandably so due to today's mixture of so-called
"news" as entertainment as biased opinions and yelling talking heads.

9. My sister-in-law is...
but then she can't make any decision on her own.
I was going to take advantage of that, since she
is, and always has been clueless. (She is 48)

May not need to though, as she was just told
Wednesday that her job is gone in 2 weeks.

11. You sure didn't see any undecided people on those TV panels
after the debates. Yes, I know some "undecideds." They're men who stay glued to ESPN and women who follow 3 or more soap operas. They love reality shows. They went to the movies on debate nights, and there is no way you could force them to watch the debates or read the transcripts later. Politics bores them to death, and they wish it would all go away. They won't know who they're voting for until they get into the booth, and then it's likely to be random.

Why do they vote? The ones I know have been guilted into it by spouses or significant others. They really don't care. They wish they didn't have to bother. But if they want to keeep peace in the family, they have to do it.

Why either side is bothering with these people is beyond me. Kerry should be going after the traditional Democratic base on bread and butter issues. Bush is going after his base by telling him the fairies are coming after their precious sons.

I'd like to see everyone who votes be able to name their current representative and senator. Alas, the ignorant undecideds will always be with us.
