My Republican Friend Sent Me This E-mail. "Kerry Will Win!"
Just got this today:

The 1st debate cooked Bush's goose in my opinion. He did fine in the other 2, but Kerry has the momentum and barring something unforseen, I now think Kerry will win.

The sad part from my view, is its not because Kerry has laid out such wonderful ideas or was so overwheming in that debate, he wasn't. It's because Bush looked like a complete boob, left opening after opening and he beat the shit out of himself. Then his lead evaporated over it.

It's his own fault and he gave it away. It's not over, but I'm preparing for the worst.

1. If you think we have a lot of doom and gloom people here at DU
you haven't seen anything when it comes to right wing doom and gloom.

3. They've earned it.
And, since they use it as a learning tool to teach themselves insane lessons, let's be very alert to how they vent their frustration.

4. He looked like a complete boob because he IS a complete boob
and I still don't understand how Republicans can't see that. Maybe because I'm from Texas but there was NEVER any "there" there -- but there's certainly a lot of wishful thinking by his supporters!

5. Crippled Inside
Edited on Sat Oct-16-04 02:10 PM by PurityOfEssence
You can shine your shoes and wear a suit,
You can comb your hair and look quite cute,
You can hide your face behind a smile,
One thing you can't hide is when your crippled inside,

You can wear a mask and paint your face,
You can call yourself the human race,
You can Wear a collar and a tie,
One thing you can't hide is when your crippled inside,

Well you know your cat has nine lives babe,
Nine lives to itself,
But you only got one and a dog's life ain't fun,
Mamma take alook outside,

You can go to church and sing a hymn,
Judge me by the colour of my skin,
You can live a lie untill you die,
One thing you can't hide is when you crippled inside

Thanks once again to John Lennon for getting to the crux of the biscuit, as 'twere.

There are clothes, just no Emperor.

8. No! Bush is magnificent and statesmanlike!
It's just trick camera angles, bad lighting, and computerized manipulation of the live feed that make him seem like an utterly moronic, incompetent joke! How dare you question our Great Leader! ;-)

16. Yeah, they use alot of excuses for *
Just like he doesn't really sound stupid, it's the soundbites from TV news that MAKE him sound stupid! Guess there were some rude awakenings during the first debate...

6. He acts as if its a "game"
He conceded that his team is losing and will prepare for the worse. Not a response I would expect from someone who strongly believes in something. Thats just my opinion though.

19. A Dem or two should "accidently" let that "President Kerry" slip
during an interview.

"President Kerry thinks- I'm sorry, SENATOR Kerry thinks....yadda yadda"

;)
