150 million voters in this country, and...
only 51 million watched the final debate.

What that means is that 99 million voters believe right now that the only significant thing that came out of the debate was that John Kerry "outed" Mary Cheney.

Can there be any real surprise that the Washington Post poll now shows a bump for Bush UPWARD?

Does it all make sense? Of course it makes sense: voters in this country, even when faced with the most important presidential choice in their lifetimes, have a serious lack of responsibility. Oh, they'll go to the polls, all right, in record numbers, because they insist on their right to vote... but I don't think those 99 million should be allowed, frankly.

1. wait a minute, some have already decided and some had to work
and some had a sick kid and some had an death in the family

but mostly, they had already decided

only us wonks (on both sides) watched after we decided. I think that's a harsh call you just made. I think the fact that many more watched than watched the Bush/Gore debates speaks volumes

2. kerry will just have to work harder to get his message out.
I don't think that just because some folks are not into politics like folks on du, doesn't mean they shouldn't vote. that's freeper talk.

3. I think the other 99 million are tired of listening to Bush's lies
and they've already decided to vote for Kerry.
