More CNNservative Bias
The full press to depress the Democratic vote is on folks...we have to work real hard to fight against this constant message that we should use as an insult against both our intelligence and our values.

Just now, they had Armstrong Williams (insert your favorite "Slappy Thomas" joke in here Bartcop fans) and Roland Martin, not what most of us would call a real pro-Kerry Democrat.

The first words out of both mouths is how Kerry hasn't connected with blacks and unless he does in the next two weeks doom, death, destruction and, of course, as Armstrong notes (so he can keep his radio show for another month) that "pResident Bunnypants makes Blacks feel safer"

CLICK!!

We're not gonna get any breaks here folks. They're trying their best to divide and depress us. Don't let the bastards win! We've got the votes, we've got the passion, let's shove it up their bias!

1. The best response to CNN is
to turn them off

Unless parents are visiting the teevee stays off.

We have other ways of learning the reality of the situation... I mean you expect CNN to report early voting problems in Florida?

PLLLEEEEAAAZZZZEEEEE

So my take is turn that shit off, you will feel better.

10. I Feel Better Knowing The Spin Than Not
I speak to people who don't turn CNNservative off...especially in contacting local voters, they're watching and hearing, I need to be informed and ready to debunk.

We also have to chronicle the bias we see here to give heads up to others as to what the latest spin points and wedge cards are being played. Reality be damned, we're seeing the main mouthpiece of this regime in action and need to keep a very close eye and keep reporting it.

There's no way I trust anything CNNservative says now and their viewing is far less now than it was 6 months ago. We hid our heads in the sand for a long time on this issue, if we're gonna really win, this network needs to be held accountable.

Cheers!

5. They're repeating their poll Bush 52% & Kerry 44% over and over since
last night...This poll does not agree with most others that have the two tied....Right now the discussion is "is the Democratic Party just taking the black vote for granted?"

7. Where did they get that from?
Even the people in my black family who are Republicans aren't voting for Bush-- they think he is a lunatic. One thing about black people is that they keep it real. And this election is not about Kerry, it's about Bush* and the miserable job he is doing as president.

About someone keeping black people safe-- I will take that as a joke since black neighborhoods are not much safer than when Bush took over.

11. Is This Even More Suspicious?
This was supposed to be Wolfie's hour. Instead he's "off" and in is a black anchor. The Armstrong/Martin segment took up a better part of a half hour and I couldn't believe what I was hearing.

One of my closest friends is very involved in the black community in Florida and has told me about the ebbs and flows of this election. Earlier this year there was, from what I was told, some discomfort with some blacks and Kerry over the lack of coordination with their groups, but that's long since been worked out.

I know there's a rising class of middle class and upper middle class blacks...and a great testimony to affirmative action and the LIBERAL push for civil rights and equality...but what makes someone sell out so bad and betray those who he should be helping.

In Armstrong, and I suspect in Mary Chenney, we see two very conflicted people who are doing more to hurt their own people and seem to revel in it.

Cheers!

13. I saw that segment

and I agree with your assessment. Martin did not do a very good job of refuting Williams and he also allowed himself to be constantly talked over. It is so sickening to see so many democrats allowing that to happen. Martin seems to agree that Bush will get more Black votes but I have met no black people who intends to vote for Bush. Most black people I know consider the GOP to be very anti- black. I cannot understand why any black person would forget that Dick Cheney voted against the civil rights bill and wanted to keep Mandella in prison. How can any black person forget that the Republican party chose Clarence Thomas. I just do not see that today's Republican party has ever acted in the best interest of the African American community.

15. That Seemed To Make Matters Worse
There was an effort to bombard CNNservative several weeks ago and I have yet to hear from any DU'er who got a real response from any of the major execs at the network.

They view us as pissants...irritants...slackers...sitting in our mother's basement since we don't have a job or life. Or we're "frustrated" journalist wannabes (that's you bloggers), who are poor imposters. There's outright contempt and we're seeing it.

My way is just to talk to the people I know, and who trust my take on things and to point out to them the bias that's going on. CNNservative isn't going to address us undressing them, but it doesn't mean something can't be done. It's using this great pipeline we've set up and develop our own techniques to call out this bias and counter-act it.

Cheers!

16. Turn of CNN! You'll feel a lot better.
Tell everyone you know not to watch them and why. If they want conservative bias, tell them to watch FAUX, because at least FAUX is up front about their spin.
