Okay, the Moran-In-Chief is about to speak. (By the way, anyone see
what a puffed up twit he looks like standing there blinking and grinning?) Crap, lose my job and then have to deal with this crap the first day of unemployment.

Does anyone think more 'terra, terra, terra' is going to help this guy? You can only do that before so long before 'terra fatigue' sets in. Oh well, someone start the official thread, because here we go.

Um, oh, yeah, that 'caring' thing, I do it. My opponent doesn't. Terra. 9/11. Terra. Only I can protect you. Amen. Terra." :eyes:

of heros; police, firemen, etc. You know, the guys who are being pulled out of the firehouses and off the streets because of lack of funding.

Oh for God's sake, it's a September the 11th speech with his audience joining in.

I've had enough, he's gotta be turned off.

This is not a policy speech. It has nothing new in this campaign speech.

Let's ask them what defines a policy speech and ask for specifics.

All three cable networks: CNN, MSNBC, FOX

Demand equal time

Edited on Mon Oct-18-04 12:47 PM by aint_no_life_nowhere
I haven't heard any substance yet, just new slogans, like Kerry's "September 10th attitude". CNN is responsible for presenting this like news. It's a campaign stump speech to a pre-selected audience, not a major new policy speech. Why don't Kerry's speeches receive the same attention?

46. No that's not what I meant
When Bush first came on, they were talking over him. The CNN host and Bill Schneider said they would cut to Bush's speech when he started getting into matters of "substance". He's now been on more than 20 minutes and I'm still waiting for the "substance" CNN was talking about.

By the way, whatever slight amount of compassion I had for Bush after he looked to physically ill and pathetic in the last debate against Kerry has now completely evaporated. I hate Bush with every single fiber of my body. Fuck Bush, fuck him twice.

51. Josh Marshall says Rove is using the "bandwagon" strategy again.
It's the same thing they did last time around. Basically, the idea is to make Bush look like he's popular and presidential, and then all of the swing voters will jump on his bandwagon.

It didn't help them win the popular vote, though I do think it helped them win the election.
