I voted this morning

I live in a small Florida county, but lots of voters out there this morning. Two hundred votes had already been cast and there were about 50 people either in line or filling out their ballots.

I traveled over to the post office and spent about an hour telling anyone with a Kerry/Edwards bumper sticker where to cast their early vote. I didn't have to stand around, lots of people to talk to.

Stopped at Albertson's for a few things, sporting my Kerry/Edwards t-shirt and my "I voted" sticker. Spoke to a few more people who stopped to ask where they could get a shirt. Then advised them to go vote early.

The down side: too many * bumper stickers containing people with sour faces at the early voting site. Why do they look like that?

They're mean, perpetually angry people who are running out of hope.

It just does something to you. Something bad, something very bad.

with about an even split. Gore won here in 2000.

YEAH! He's gonna get 70 million votes and Bush will get 50 million. LANDSLIDE!! (Hey, one can dream).
