1. He won't. He's
hawing, oops, I mean selling his book. Carlin is a funny man, but he doesn't vote and doesn't believe there is much difference between Kerry and *.

2. I know. So why should we care what he says?
I suppose if you're into a pointless comedic experience, it's okay.

4. DID ANYONE SEE CARLIN ON BILL MAHER?
He sounded less ambivalent than usual, and it sounded like he would consider voting for Kerry.

5. Tweety is off his meds again
Just called Bush a "political genius". Bush and genius should NEVER be found in the same sentence.

screwing up this entire country, Iraq, the environment, people are losing their jobs, medical insurance, etc., and he's still leading in many polls. primal scream, what is happening to this country

19. our press doesn't even function as press anymore. Twenty or
thirty years ago they did, but now they are just so pro-GOP., they might as well be working for Ed Gillespie.

21. understand your point but the fundies are growing with or without
a free press. They are not concerned with issues that a free press reports. They are more interested in listening to what their ministers tell them. These people are growing exponentially in this country and I think they are accounting for a lot of the high and tenacious Bush poll numbers.

18. The reason he is losing momentum is his terrible performance
in the debates. It is the media (with talking points provided by Rove) that are keeping Bush in the running. Contrary to what Molly Ivins claims (and I tend to agree with her on most things), Bush is NOT a great politician.

7. Yes, it bothers me that they call *bush baby "pro-life." He pretends he is
anti-abortion for political expediency, but the Repugs will never do anything about that issue lest they lose a wedge.

*Bush believes in war, the destruction of the environment, disdain for human rights or human discourse, master over slaves (workers)...need I continue?

13. yes, it seems to have a higher moral plane than to say pro-choice.
and it also seems to imply that if you are against that pro-lifer, then you are pro- death. I wish all the abortion stuff were framed as pro-choice and anti-choice.

10. You got to hand it to Bush
He single handedly turned around voter apathy trends. Thats a hell of an accomplishment. Probably the only one thats positive.
