How Did Everybody Miss The New Cali Poll
www.surveyusa.com

Kerry's up by ten... Gore won by twelve... A few weeks ago I saw some posts that Cali was in play...I said if Cali's in play we can go fishing because that would mean Bush was winning in a landslide...

14. I Hope Bush Thinks It's in Play
and keeps visiting CA like the last campaign. Kerry will clean up in the swing states.

23. Its already there, it just lacks a figure head to rally around.
And the normally, sensible (compared to the PNAC crowd) 'puglicans rallying around Arn-hold is just sad.

21. And the "faithful" are pissed at him, now. He just came out FOR
stem cell research. Proposition 71 out here. It's getting lots of endorsements, including L.A. Times. It'll be a very large "up yours!" to the fundamentalists and other assorted bushbots.

No. Arnold is NOT delivering. But then again, I doubt ANYBODY could have delivered. California is NOT gonna go red. Just wasn't gonna happen, even if they made it a three-way governorship between Arnold, The Rock and Vin Diesel. If they had the entire WWF lineup as governor out here, that STILL would not have delivered California into the bush column. But I'm still glad they wasted some time and a few bucks out here.

6. Not worried in the slightest about Cali.
Edited on Tue Oct-19-04 09:54 AM by jefferson_dem
Actually, the 10 point spread is promising in an oddball sort of way. This demonstrates that Kerry's national head-to-head tally is likely not the result of inflated support in "already blue and not-to-go-red" states. Less margin in Cali means closer and more likely to be ahead elsewhere.
