Ad Marketing Question......
So often DU'ers will post ad ideas and it will seem like many of the ideas are very common sense and we wonder WHY the Dems aren't running these type of ads. My question is, with the way the Battleground states are this time around, is there a possiblity this is already being done, but it isn't being seen in a nation-wide sense? Are those of us not in Battleground states not seeing the entire picture?

Does anyone have an idea about this?

1. I've heard that if you're not in a battleground state,
you're barely seeing any ads. Which, in a way, makes sense. However, some day that strategy will bite someone in the ass.

I hope voter turnout will make this that year.

P.S. I live in Wisconsin and can't watch network T.V. I end up screaming at the T.V. and upsetting my wife.

2. I'm seeing more ads in Canada (Vancouver)
than people in locked up states because I get my US channels from Seattle.

Pretty much the only ads seen everywhere are the ones on national outlets, like CNN. The ads on cable news are designed to appeal to a certain demographic.

And even though that campaign ads are fairly inexpensive to produce, because they are stock footage and voice-overs, you don't want to clutter with too many messages. Generally speaking, a person needs to see an ad three times before they will even recall it.
