Oh man Wolf Blitzer just MOPPED THE FLOOR with Daryl Waltrip on CNN
Waltrip talked about Bush "walking the walk" in Iraq, Blitzer asked about Kerry walking into the line of fire in Vietnam. Waltrip said the national guard would take offense at Blitzer saying Bush went into the NG, Blitzer said everybody knows it's where you went THEN to get out of combat.

Waltrip said "look at kerry, he's got a mansion in Nantucket and Bush has a farm in Crawford." Blitzer said "It's not a farm, it's a lot of acres worth a lot of money, they're both very very rich guys."

Actually WALTRIP mopped the floor with Waltrip, Blitzer just pointed out the obvious.

What a fuckin IDIOT

He's damn lucky that breathing is an automatic function or I suspect that he would have been a deader long before now.

38. I like that.. You may have coined a new phrase
It used to be when I was tuckered it meant I was overly tired now it means Shamed on National TV. I love it. Much bettered than "Gored" I didn't like that one at all.

48. If you're Gored, you are unfairly attacked (and I think it only

applies to candidates being unfairly attacked by media) whereas the new usage of "tuckered" could mean "publicly chastised for being a media tool."

You can still be "tuckered out" because the preposition "out" changes the meaning of "tuckered."

I mean, there's a difference between "being fucked" and "being fucked up."

And it's a preposition that tells you the difference between those two verbs as well.

They're just so ca-yute when you get them out of their penis extensions, aren't they? Apparently Waltrip thinks being president is no more taxing or strenuous than being the girl in the bikini who hands the race winner his trophy. As long as he looks purdy, George W. Bush is a great president.

What a balloon brain.

STEREOTYPE1. Your continued use of the term NAZICAR is not endearing to the TRUE progressives on this board who enjoy racing. Waltrip is a fucking moron. His views represent a percentage of fans and drivers, not a majority. I again challenge you to post a list of your interests so that you may be denigrated for the things you enjoy. But I'm sure I can expect to be graced by your usual rapier wit with a reply along the lines of ".", or even ".." if your feeling particularly loquacious.

11. Since when does anyone even remotely care about what
Waltrip has to say? Now I don't watch NASCAR, but I don't really have against it either. I don't even mind if they express their political opinions, this is America after all, but one should at least try and do some research before he goes on the air. Perhaps Waltrip should stick with announcing races, he knows a lot about that.

and, unfortunately, most people on the board who despise NASCAR will walk away thinking that he represents the views of all the drivers. There are many cerebral drivers on the circuit. Drivers like Kurt Busch, Jimmy Johnson, and DJ are perfectly capable of articulating their thoughts. Hell, Ryan Newman has a degree in engineering.

26. Daryl Waltrip represents why Bush is so popular in the red states.
His supporters, nearly half the country, don't think. They focus on the Hughes/Rove-created image like gulliple guppies taking the bait.

DW represents all these people who live in the homes with Bush/Cheney yard signs. When you see those homes, shake your head, and wonder "don't they know they're hurting America? How can they still support them?", then look no furhter than DW.

Facts don't matter when it comes to these people. They only listen to their gut feeling. Hey, doesn't that remind you of someone?

27. "a farm in crawford" = 1600 ACRES! | what a FOOL!
just a simple farmer.....

The Southwest Wing

Washington D.C. and NBC may have The West Wing, but Crawford has the Prairie Chapel Ranch now being called alternately the "Texas White House" or the "Western White House." First Lady Laura Bush spent several weeks after the inauguration readying the ranch for its new role as the Presidential retreat away from the Oval Office. President Bush has said "...when I'm not in Washington, there's a pretty good chance you'll find me on our place in Crawford, Texas."

George W. and Laura Bush purchased around 1600 acres just outside of Crawford in 1999. Located 18 miles southwest of Waco, Crawford is about 90 miles north of Austin and convenient to Fort Hood for those flights in on Air Force One. The ranch itself, eight miles northwest of Crawford, is in an area known as Prairie Chapel.

The ranch property includes a creek, canyon, waterfalls, and meadows where cattle and deer graze. The Bush family renovated an existing farmhouse and built a new home there. As an avid fisherman Bush added a private fishing lake stocked with bass. However, the curious trekking out to the ranch won't see any of that. From the road there's only pastures, barbed wire fences, and signs that warn "No stopping. No standing. No parking on right of way." You might, however, meet up with a few Secret Service agents near the ranch and in town.

33. This is a serious issue when Nascar supports Bush. Does
anyone know who are the main owners of Nascar and its sponsers? I think we really need to set up some kind of petition against this choice.

I live in Southwest Virginia and the Bristol racetrack is only about an hour from my home. That weekend is unbelievable. We do not even attempt to get on the Interstate that weekend or really try to go any where. Hotels/Motels are all booked up months in advance, even two counties further away then we are from Bistol.

My husband nor I get into this stuff, but the people from Ohio down go crazy for Nascar.

With Nascar endorsing Bush, that pretty much gets him the state of Ohio (in my opinion).

I've NEVER heard Wolf Blitzer practice any kind of "REAL" journalism until today. . . He's been on the level of NATIONAL ENQUIRER and has been nothing but a "stenographer" whore for the last 3.5 years. Has he seen the light? Has he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior? Has he been born again? Christ, what a shock to hear him grill a Republican!
