Needed: Talking points for Kerry GOTV phone calls.

I'll be making phone calls from my home here in PA to Democrats in my voting district.

I know one issue I'm going to come across here is Second Amendment rights (LOTS of hunters here). I need some good answers for that and everything else you can think of.

He is not going to take away your guns, and will do more to protect wildlife habitat (don't say the environment) that Bush ever will.

2. John Kerry has been trying to get prescription drugs discounts and

better health care for all individuals who are forced to take cuts in their pay due to downsizing and jobs going overseas.
John Kerry believes in the Bill of Rights and will fight to protect them. He knows if these are changed by the Right Wing it will take away your freedoms as Americans.

3. Al Franken came up with a great abortion argument on his show

yesterday. The abortion rate was at a 20-year low under Clinton's administration. Since GB took office, abortion rates have increased. The reason for this, in Franken's opinion, was that people tend to have children when they have some hope of supporting those children.

If the goal is to abolish abortion, we have to make our resources available to the children borne.
