I have gone ahead and signed him up to start receiving Jerry Falwell's "National Liberty Journal." May as well send him off the deep end with the necessary misinformation and bigotry in hand.

I really hope not, I know the Kerry campaign likes to play "Higher and Higher" as well as "Right Now" for the Hagar Van Halen years. I did a Google/news search to see if Van Halen had anything to say about the music being used but came up empty. Does any have any one have any info on this or a link for me?

a similar thing to my brother--he has gone over to the dark side--so I signed him up for the Limbaugh Letter and I asked for it to be sent to him at work. Let him be an object of ridicule there--I am sure the people in the mailroom will snicker--and hopefully others as well.

My brother had an 18 month ordeal with a real asshole neighbor who spied on my brother, harassed my brother in countless ways and generally made life sour. My brother literally wanted to kill him, was fantasizing about it night and day. Roll this into frustration re:Iraq and his obsession with killing "ragheads" and you have a guy who morphs into a bush-bot. Oh, and he's a realtor now, so he gets plenty of face-time with Mepublicans.

...thats the problem. Some people can be convinced of anything, being a hippie is more than long hair and beatles albums.

some people need to fill a hole in their lives; when hippieness (and drugs and music) didn't work, they had to fill it with something else. Usually thats religion (I know many who went born again), but becoming a repub happens too (usually a side effect of religion). Sometimes a side effect of becoming a greedy pig (filling that hole again.
