Red Sox win- Good omen for Kerry?
That's one hell of a comeback that Kerry, I mean the Red Sox, made, there.

Think God's telling us something again?

46. Mike Timlin just said
he's from Texas but he's proud to have the word "Boston" on his chest and he feels like a son of Massachusetts. Another Texas/Massachusetts connection, and again the State o' Liberals comes out looking good!

52. I was born and raised in the Bronx, so I am suffering right now, but...

I can accept a Boston win tonight on one condition: the momentum from this win *must* carry over to John Kerry. I believe that a Red Sox win will unite all of New England and thus give us the swing states of New Hampshire and Maine, and in turn, the election.

So with that said, I will take off my Yankees cap and bow to the Red Sox tonight. Bring it home Sox and bring it home John Kerry!"

Beautiful..

As a Red Sox fan born and raised in Red Sox country I have had this feeling that the momentum and the mojo and all that was tied between the Red Sox and Kerry, specifically the Yankees vs. Red Sox. In true Red Sox superstitious fashion I kept my big trap shut to avoid bringing the curse on us!

But I must say ohhhhh I have a good feeling, we're taking the country back from straight out of Boston!!!!!!!!!!

But it's hard not to. Especially since there could still be a MA/TX World Series. It does seem like good times for MA, though, doesn't it? Congratulations to all Sox fans. We're a Mets family ourselves, but we've got a soft spot for the Red Sox for a lot of reasons.

9. Here's a great way to look at it....
Not counting the cheerleader crap on top of 3000 corpses on 9-14-01, what was Junior's first public appearance in NYC after 9-11-01??

Throwing out the first pitch at a Yankees game.

Bush - arrogant dictator who thinks he owns the world

Yankees - arrogant corporation who thinks they can buy championships.

Symbolic that a team from Boston brought down the BCE of major league baseball? Sounds logical to me.

But then ANYBODY beating the Yankees would have been good enough for me. Never could stand them. Or the Bushes either

29. Think of it this way
would you rather have Bush corrupt the Yankee's with four more years or Kerry have a confidence builder from his team winning? This will be a great boost for him. What is more important one game or 4 years with a great President?

But at least your team has won about 3 million times! Try being a Cubs fan some time. Then you'll know pain.

Anyway, if it can't be the Cubs, I'm glad it's the Red Sox!

Just think, with a little tea party all those years ago in Boston we got our country out of the hands of an empire. And now Boston will be the symbol of Americans taking their country back from an emperor.

Go Red Sox. GO JOHN KERRY!

I am sorry for the Yankee fans, but Boston hasn't won in donkey's years, have they? Don't follow baseball all that closely, but I tend to go with the underdog. And an occasional Dodger dog. But the Cubs! I always loved the late Steve Goodman's "A Dying Cubs Fan's Last Request."

please don't make any predictions, except a congratulations to the Red Sox, but NO predictions!

Mindless folks may determine their vote as strange as it may seem, by our wonderful and silly American past-time and the prediction of who will win the World Series... (Let's hope St. Louis wins their game 7 tomorrow night to nullify it all, nothing agaist the Astros). Howevr, every single vote is extremely important.

Remember the "Patriots" winning after 9-11 almost as an Omen to the Bush crowd...as incredibly silly as this may sound.
