I got this stupid e-mail today.......

WORKING PEOPLE FREQUENTLY ASK RETIRED PEOPLE WHAT THEY DO TO MAKE THEIR

INTERESTING.


I WENT TO THE STORE THE OTHER DAY. I WAS ONLY IN THERE FOR ABOUT 5
MINUTES. WHEN I CAME OUT THERE WAS A CITY COP WRITING OUT A PARKING
TICKET.


I WENT UP TO HIM AND SAID, "COME ON, BUDDY, HOW ABOUT GIVING A SENIOR A
BREAK?"


HE IGNORED ME AND CONTINUED WRITING THE TICKET.


I CALLED HIM A NAME. HE GLARED AT ME AND STARTED WRITING ANOTHER TICKET
FOR
HAVING WORN TIRES.


SO I CALLED HIM A WORSE NAME. HE FINISHED THE SECOND TICKET AND PUT IT ON

THE WINDSHIELD WITH THE FIRST.


THEN HE STARTED WRITING A THIRD TICKET.

THIS WENT ON FOR ABOUT 20 MINUTES. THE MORE I ABUSED HIM THE MORE TICKETS
HE WROTE.

I DIDN'T CARE. MY CAR WAS PARKED AROUND THE CORNER
AND THIS ONE HAD A "KERRY FOR PRESIDENT" BUMPER STICKER ON IT.

I TRY TO HAVE A LITTLE FUN EACH DAY NOW THAT I'M RETIRED.

And this from the woman I spent 2 weeks in Ireland with the October right after September 11!! I'm not going to answer her.....I'm afraid of what I might say, no I'll wait until I have calmed down a bit before I write her back.

You could write her and tell her you did the same thing with a Bush bumper stickered car. I wouldn't let that bother me at all, I'm the only Democrat here where I work and I catch much worse crap than that.

My guess is she got this email and forwarded it (?). The way it is written is semi-professional; it has the timing of a Leno joke and the spelling is accurate. She hates Kerry supporters apparently or she wouldn't think it was funny.

Btw, I don't think I have ever seen a bumpersticker that just says "Kerry for President."

They just added the bumper sticker part.
