Why the media whores for bush:
It is my opinion that the media wants bush to win on Nov 2. Why?
They know there will be more than enough news for them to split among the whore machines CNN, MSNBC and FAUX.
There will be fear mongering for them to run day in and day out
There will be attacks on Iran and other mid east countries.
There will be more bad news for the little guy in America when more jobs are sent offshore.
More crime with the lift of the assault weapons ban
More pollution = more health problems
Higher energy costs, more starvation
It is a news producers dream
War and pestilence

2. Two words: Media Deregulation
The media bosses know Bush will let them consolidate the media in the hands of the few, and thus, they're not only going to vote for Bush, they're going out of their way to demonize Kerry in the process.

4. They don't want to appear to be anymore culpable
The media war mongers feel safer with Bush. They are terrified that with a Kerry administration, the public will begin to question their role in the drum beating rush to war.

They have Blood on their hands- they don't want to take the gloves off.

5. Pocketbook politics-
they like the nice fat tax cuts that Shrub gives them--remember, most of these guys & gals make several hundred thousand of dollars or more a year.

7. They be owned!
Either we push for reform of corporate law and rescind their "rights", or we face this endless battle on all fronts until they finally win with their money and power and America becomes a total Fascist State, signed, sealed and delivered. Hello Orwell!

Rescind the Corporations First Amendment Rights, to begin with. Deomcratize mass media as well. And that is just the tip of the icberg.

You CANNOT expect a true Democracy with the way corporate law is set up now.

I have a problem with trying to cure the disease by only going for the secondary symptoms. We have to get to the root of it and then the cure won't be such a tremendous and futile effort to hold back the onslaught.
