Just saw this on MSNBC.
If on election day anyone has a problem at the polls they can call:

1-866-MYVOTE-1

For assistance. Tweety and Brokaw were in the ad. Anyone know who is sponsoring this? Is this an NBC effort? What effect would this have, or is this a diversion?

Sorry I do not trust NBC.

5. Interesting
This is an automated answering service they take a statement ask you zip code and promise to connect you with your local election officials. Who wants to make a bet on election day this is an empty promise?

Sorry for being a pessimist but I do not trust anything or anyone at NBC.

by the way...I am still new, so who is Tweety. I don't mean to sound stupid but maybe I'm a little slow :silly:

P.S. Where from in MO?

11. Go Cards
The cards are definatly going to win. No doubt...but I think some here would disagree.

I don't think there will be a problem with me voting here but I will get the number for the local dems just in case.

14. If you are in the St. Louis area nothing would surprise me.
In 2000 I thought Kit Bond would pop an artery. He is still charging fraud because the a judge kept the polls open because of the long lines and people not being able to vote.

If this would have been in Republican suburbs there would have been a different song from Mr. Bond.

20. You're Right
but I live in the republican suburbs...no I live in very republican St. Charles county. I will be voting at my church. I don't foresee any problems...but like I said, I will bring that number with me. :toast:

One more thing...Kit Bond is a jack ass. I hope he will be voted out this time around. It's time for him to head move in to the retirement home.

13. That is hysterical...
I'm never going to view either Tweetie the same. It took me a while to figure out who Tweetie was too, but is it just because of the resemblance? What's the origin?

This advice needs to spread. I know how many Democrats seem to resist organization.

17. Election Protection has a help line.
1-866-OURVOTE. This is legit. The organization is affiliated with People for the American Way and is getting together a huge bunch of lawyers to act as poll monitors on Election Day. http://www.electionprotection2004.org
