TRUTH, JUSTICE AND THE AMERICAN WAY: NO MATCH FOR GEORGE W. BUSH’S RIGHT-WING IDEOLOGY OF DEATH

This week, many millions of Americans are mourning the death of a great actor and humanitarian, Christopher Reeve. Millions of Americans are asking would Christopher Reeve be alive and walking if George W. Bush had not been allowed to pull off the 2000 Coup d’Etat and steal the Presidency. Millions of Americans are also asking how many more of their countrymen and women will die if Bush and his right-wing ideology of death are not thrown out of office in the November 2nd, 2004 election

Imagine if all the people you knew with any of the above disease or any of a number of other currently incurable diseases could be saved and permanently healed with the introduction of stem cells. Doesn’t their fate may you want to support the candidate who will help them live rather than the one that will ensure their death? Do you care?

Americans need to realize that their votes can kill or save lives. Significantly more people could be saved each month from the results of stem cell research than died on 9/11. Opposition to stem cell research is in itself an act of terrorism.

America has lost Christopher Reeve. President Reagan is gone. But there is still time to save Michael J. Fox, Richard Pryor, Carl, Eric, the veterans who were paralyzed fighting for you and millions of other Americans, whose lives depend on a Kerry victory. Four more years will mean millions more deaths. Be patriotic and vote for the one candidate who has the courage to stand up for stem cell research. The life your vote saves could be your own.
