It's the People against the Powerful and Special Interests
The Democratic Party was created by and for the people. We will return to our roots. It is unfortunate that we had to suffer the malaise and disease of a radical such as Bush to come together. But, sometimes we are a nation that is hard-headed and stubborn and we have to be hit upside the head pretty hard in order to get our attention.

And George Bush and the Republicans "misunderestimated" the line of demarcation. They crossed it with ignorance willful neglect. And the people they hit up side the head started going down and registering to vote. They have no idea what is about to happen to them. The People will make their voice heard !

1. Want to get someone's write up that proves your point about Powerful
and Special Interests - an approximately 150 year history that is quite condensed for the decades long period that is covered, but easy to read, very well written, big font, with a canyon sized load of information that will fill in gaps of understanding and make light bulbs go off?

2. yes and i do believe that when Kerry wins, it will
also be a victory of the people over right wing corp media, including the hate radio stations (there are 3 ---THREE!!!--- of them on my am dial), cable news stations and out of touch shills like George Will, who has the audacity to publish articles of why Dem's are angry, like he would know. As an angry Dem myself, I can tell you that article had no basis in reality, yet it was published in a bunch of major newspapers.

Like Al Franklin, said, we on the left have been taking it for years, and finally, we are pissed off to a point of organizing, almost exclusively thru grassroots efforts.

It always makes me laugh when i read/hear repukes talking about how nasty politics have become, and wonder just how did it get this way and why are the Dem's so angry to begin with. Repukes refuse acknowledge the destruction and filth poured forth everyday by hate radio, or the secret covert campaigns to take over traditional left leaning news sources (NPR and others) or to even admit that the Clinton witch hunt and Gray impeachment were political motivated assignation missions.

I am with you in that I believe that people are finally waking up, and that things are slowing changing. People are hungry for true fair and balanced news, witness the success of Air America. I have never been involved in politics before, but now that I am, I intend to never give up, never surrender, like Bruce says. Yes, you are correct, the people WILL make their collective voices heard!!!
