A GREAT idea from my wife
If you live in a heavily Democratic precinct, print up small cards with the address and hours of your polling site. Pass them out to every house you can get to.

You can simply print them in bulk (on card stock or heavy paper) on your home PC printer and cut-em up.

We're doing this.

1. We Did That here
Slip of paper actually. With a neat brochure the state party guys printed up for the LA area. Passed out a bunch of them today. Door to door.

We're getting ready to kick some 'Pug ass 'round here, fella.

4. What's the point?

If your state is already heavilly Democratic and Kerry wins it, increased turnout will not translate to more Electoral votes.

Worse, you don't want to be inadvertantly informing "Bush Supporters" about where and when to early vote!

5. Bullshit
Everyone vote! And everyone do everyhting in their power to get everyone else to vote. I don't are if you live in Houston, Havana or Hartford. Now is not the time for finesse. Get them to the polls. Period.

7. Listen up
I live in a SWING STATE. And yes, getting my heavily Democratic precinct to the polls IS VERY IMPORTANT!

And another thing: I skip the houses with Bush/Cheney signs. Let the GOP remind them to vote, I say.
