How's life in NM? I've been thinking of moving down there. I know DH Lawrence spent the last years of his life there; said it was the most beautiful place he'd ever been.

I love the Rio Grand and God or Dog why have the Murican bastards ruined it.
I lived in France and they are civilized (so far) but I was born in El Paso and lived and live in ABQ and love horned toads of which there are less and as the song says: WHAT HAVE THEY DONE TO THE RAIN ....
WHAT HAVE THEY DONE TO MY DESERT, MY LAND?
Do I go back to France or do I do what I can for the Rio Grand Valley? But what can one do, even if Kerry is elected?
