Tom DeLay walking door to door?!?!? Is he desperate or what?
“I did 95 doors yesterday in a little over two hours,” said Rep. Tom DeLay (R-Texas), who has traded his hard-soled dress shoes for white running sneakers since Congress recessed for the election.

Yet another first for DeLay!!! He debated, he printed signs, he opened not one, but TWO headquarters, he is sending literature multiple times, he has poll workers (or at least till it gets too hot or humiliated), he is running ads, and he is running attack ads against his opponents.

And now he is walking? the most powerful man in congress is walking for votes?

I think he knows something we dont know.,

2. If our candidate for Governor just knocked on some doors...
...he might be Governor right now. Knocking on doors sounds like good campaigning.

4. how can you do 95 doors in 2 hours?
It makes a minute and 20 seconds per door. You can barely say "Hi, I am your asshole representative".

Not to count the time you have to walk between doors.

Liar!

8. I shudder at the mental picture of Delay "doing" one door, let alone 95.
And all in one hour! What a man!

11. ......and that not counting the walking distance between each door
and it doesn't take in account the waiting time for the occupant of that dwelling to answer the door.

5. In the district....
I work in the Delay hell district. Even all of my staunch right wing Republicans are voting against him. At the very least they are just not voting for congress, but alot of them are turning to Morrison. It's pretty cool to hear the momentum shifting out there!

10. I do hope your "sample" is representative. That would be a sweet
topping to a Kerry victory. And it would make a Kerry loss a little easier to accept.

6. Oh boo hoo DeLay
He's cryin' for being *gasp* 'attacked'. The assholes only defense is to say he's being 'attacked'. It clearly shows he can't run on his record and tout all of the *good* things he's done and said.

I'm also guessing that there's a majority of Texans who are not too happy about all of his shenanigans. They've put pressure on DeLay's district to do what moral and ethical (unlike DeLay).

12. DeLay's only polling 42%
Send money to Morrison to help him increase his name recognition. See: http://pmbryant.typepad.com/b_and_b/2004/10/defeat_tom_dela.html

21. Not if you can train your dog to do it for you. A well trained dog can
get the whole pant leg. If you see him coming down the street, have the dog drink a lot of water.
