I don't think you will see Kerry ahead again in this poll the rest of the way. Hannity ignored Rasmussen on Monday when his poll showed Kerry ahead and instead had Zogby on who had Bush ahead. Rasmussen needs the exposure.

1. you make an excellent point
which is exactly that these polls are shit..and they will skew them to get some time on air...everybody is cherry picking..but really they are all wrong..its not this close...

2. He also needs to get the final result as close as he can.
...which isn't to say I have much trust in how close he _can_ get it, but I do trust that he won't purposely skew it going into election day.

6. True
If he misses this one as bad as he did in 2000, his polling career will be over. I think he will try to put out numbers close to Zogby's so if he is wrong he can say his numbers were similar to other pollsters. I get that impression because I emailed him several times and he always say's that his numbers are close to Zogby's.

I prefer Zogby - he uses Uri Gellar...

Rasmussen uses Karnak the Magnificent. The Quinnipiac uses a cracked Magic 8 Ball.

3. I agree becuz on Monday Kerry was up by 2 in Raz
and then they were tied yesterday, so it will probably have Bush up today.

4. Credibility gone
I can't see how any of them won't have Kerry moving up at least a little in polls taken after Monday. Sure, they could say it slipped back down by the weekend, but with the bad news and the Kerry/Clinton rally, to say anywhere that Bush had a better Tuesday than Kerry would so clearly be a joke.
