Anyone else on a friggen rollercoaster?
One minute I'm flyin' about how quickly voter fraud issues are exposed. They're poppin up and "Ping! Ping! Ping!" we're shootin' them down like a video game..and I'm feeling really good and the bad guys are going down this time.......

And the next minute I get the BBV blues, and I feel like we could get 100% turnout with 95% goin' Kerry, and it's all for nothing 'cause it's so completely RIGGED that we're DOOMED, DOOMED, DOOMED..................

I think I need a hobby, or a back rub, or a good stiff drink...

1. Yes, my mood changes hourly, sometimes more.
coming here makes me feel mostly better but sometimes it adds to my obsessive worrying. Yesterday after hearing Carville speak I was up for a couple of hours, then came to work and started reading the internet and got depressed.

2. Somehow, I Feel Like This Week is an Anticlimax
That Kerry has done what he needed to do. The debates are over. Campaign ads are frozen. People's minds are made up. Kerry has surged ahead in OH and FL.

I'm getting out the vote Tuesday. But there's an eerie sense of peace right now.

3. Oh yeah.
I am oscillating more than Bush trying to decide between a pretzel and a coke spoon.

5. I am anxious, and I am volunteering every day!
But I know I did everything I could to get our guys elected.

6. I've been on the rollercoaster for months now and
just today I decided to do something about it. I voted early so that I can volunteer to work election day either at the polls or helping in some other way (driving elderly/poor etc to the polls). I am waiting on a phone call now and will know more about what help they might need on election day. I urge everyone here on DU who is available on election day to do the same. MSNBC just ran a story claiming there is a nationwide shortage of volunteers (how this could be in this election is beyond me, but I digress...). Anyway, I am looking forward to participating in this election besides voting.
