10. Everybody said good news when Kerry was +2

I'm just being consistent O8)
I'm not saying Kerry will lose, just that this particular poll is not having a good trend.

21. Here it is from Zogby subscription data
the $$$ Zogby (none / 0)

Pollster John Zogby: "Today was a big day for Kerry, with a 5- point lead in the single day of polling. Kerry has managed to consolidate a big chunk of his base just as Bush has done on his own behalf. Kerry leads 2 to 1 among Hispanics; he is getting 90% of African Americans; 84% of Democrats; 55% of union voters; 65% of singles; and well over 50% of all voters earning under $50K.

"But remarkably the two candidates are tied among men and women and the race is very close among the youngest voters, and Catholics. Kerry leads 50%-40% among new voters and the candidates are in a dead heat among those who have already voted."

"Politics is the art of looking for trouble, finding it everywhere, diagnosing it incorrectly and applying the wrong remedies." - Groucho Marx

Thats a dead heat. In a dead heat, the incumbent loses.

12. not bad news...
* is still under 50%, and with the leaners he's only up by 1.4 points.

Are you being sarcastic? (not a flame)

13. This poll is a joke
Seriously. Yesterday, with all the Clinton afterglow and the horrible news about the explosives and yet Kerry didn't gain any ground?

Rasmussen officially = Joke

(Although many of us have thought so for some time, still ...)

22. No surprise here...
I figured R* wasn't going to let Kerry have more than a day or two being ahead. No siree...not when the bread's being buttered on the right side.

someone does not answer their phone one day and there is a shift in the polling

16. If true
Its still not enough for Chimp to win. Undecideds will got mostly for Kerry plus they are likely missing newly registered voters who will go mostly for Kerry and they are seriously "misunderestimating" just how fired up we are to get rid of the dangerous fool in the White House.

Turn out will be key. If we GOTV Kerry wins.

20. Ignore all polls. They are all worthless. They are all within the margin
of error. And when you talk about them you aren't talking about policy and you aren't working to help get Democrats elected.

IGNORE.
