2. I saw this
What a piece of crap article.

I gave it a 1 rating. And I don't bother to rate stuff on Yahoo! very often, but this is just crap.

4. I repeat: Keyes doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell
Obama is going to win that seat, and Alan "Batshit Crazy" Keyes should consider himself lucky if he gets 20% of the vote.

I live in Chicago, and I've yet to see a single Keyes sign, as opposed to hundreds upon hundreds of Obama signs. Keyes has no chance.

5. I love Obama!
His speech at the DNC was among the best I've ever heard. It makes me proud to live in Illinois so that I can cast my vote for him on Tuesday!

6. You HAVE to be on the "defensive"
When a mad dog is chewing the leg off your pants.

What's Barak polling these days? 89, 91%?

7. I didn't realize they were doing three debates
It seems pretty generous of him to agree to three debates when his opponent's poll numbers are so anemic. No way Obama is on the defensive about anything at all.

9. Well, he's got to keep the fight interesting
Or we'd all go to sleep and miss the election.

Goes to show the race baiting doesn't work.

10. I watched last night's debate and the one last week
I didn't think Obama was in any way on the defensive.

I thought this was an interesting quote:

"I am not obsessed with government, and I think that's the difference between me and Barack Obama," said Keyes, a Republican and former ambassador to the United Nations.

Absolutely not true. Keyes is obsessed with government - a theocratic one.

11. For the life of me, I don' know why Obama even bothered with this debate
He would have gained more respect by just saying that he was not interested in engaging in a name calling fest with an idiot.

12. why is Keyes so obsessed with the sex lives of people
he'll never know or ever care about? Obama is right--Keyes' argument can be used against adoption very easily. The only place where having sex with your sister/brother unknowingly would happen is on the soap operas. It's an argument that is baseless and appeals only to emotions--and no decision should ever be made from an emotional standpoint.

Alan Keyes is the face of the mainstream Republican party.

13. Plus pro-life people advocate adoption as an alternative to abortion.
Edited on Wed Oct-27-04 01:51 PM by LoZoccolo
The incest argument would actually work against Keyes' position on abortion.
