So their scripted talking point response to the missing explosives is...
Edited on Wed Oct-27-04 01:21 PM by Brotherjohn
... officially out, as evidenced by Karl Rove's statements yesterday (http://www.stltoday.com/stltoday/news/stories.nsf/election2004/story/29BAE18A67AE07FB86256F3A00154DDC?OpenDocument&Headline=Bush,+Kerry+go+on+the+offensive+in+Wisconsin), and Bush's and McLellan's statements today(http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/wireStory?id=202288, http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2004/10/20041027-3.html). It took them three days to come up with it, and they're all repeating it like a tape-recorder.

In short, this is it:
"You can't trust a man who jumps to conclusions to be President of the United States".

Thank you, Karl Rove, for just handing the election to John Kerry. And here we all thought you were a genius.

1. "Senater Kerry will say anything".
Of course, that's been thier line for a couple weeks now. I think Scott said it several times at the WH today.

6. I like the whining element in what Cheney says...
that Kerry hadn't mentioned the 400,000 tons of weapons and explosives that had been seized and were in the process of being destroyed.

Yeah, right. If and when a plane is shot down w/some of the missing stuff, they can talk about all of the OTHER planes that weren't shot down that day. If another embassy or hotel is bombed with it, point out all the OTHER buildings that are still standing. Why is everyone being so NEGATIVE... (sarcasm off)
