Liberal Bias???? Pleeeze tell me where? I need some..

Its raining.
My cable went out.
So I am layin in bed and grab the clock radio and start at 1400 and work my way down the dial.

Station A: Some local San Diego yahoo Rush wanna bee talking about how "those democrats are losing the jewish vote"

next..

Station B: Some preacher talking about why a moral president with christian values is best for our country....


next.

Station C: Rush Limbaugh...........

next

Station D: Another local Rush wanna bee talking about how Kerry is Al Quada's choice....


next E: Bill O'Liely THIS IS THE BEST ONE: He was talking about how the liberal/progressive baby boomers have taken over the media and he and FOX news are The ONLY voice on the airwaves touting traditional conservative values. Claims he is being persecuted along with Fox by all the LIBERAL mEDIA!


I started to scream at the radio. WTF PLANET AM I ON?

All I can find is mighty-righty-christian-conservative-Bushbacker AM RADIO and this guys telling ME that he is the lone conservative voice in the sea of liberalism?

The ONLY time i get to hear my views on the air is late night on AM 810 out of San Fransico..Bernie Ward/Ray Taliaferro or listen to Air America on the pc.

Is it just me or is it what?
If "we" do control the airwaves we sure as hell are more concerned with spreading the rights viewpoints than our own.

A colleague was using the argument: "We need Faux/MSGOP because the rest of the media is SOO liberal. What about the CBS/60 minutes hit piece on Clinton? What about the stolen weapons story, which isn't really a story - why is it breaking now - because of the liberal media. And the New York Times - are you telling me they aren't liberal."

I told him everywhere I turned, I saw the GE-owned, Disney-owned corporate media shilling for Bush. I watched the 3 networks like a hawk on Monday, and only one showed the extent of the Philadelphia rally, where I saw at least 200,000 people come out to see Clinton/Kerry (fire dept estimates were 100,000-120,000). The other 2 networks dismissed it, and spent most of their time on Bush talking to a loyalty-oath crowd. MSGOP called it "hundreds" (even he had to admit it was huge - it was right outside his window).

Didn't convince him, of course. But thanks for posting "the myth of the liberal media" for me.

Air America. I listen to it all day at work!

I heard a caller on Cspan saying "all" of the media is shilling for Kerry this week.

And I was like, "huh? where?"

Must be their excuse if they lose - they will blame it on the "liberal" (not) media.

All i hear about is the liberal bias on all the righty talk shows which make up 99% of what is on mainstream talk radio.
