1. The RNC was communicating with the Jacksonville GOP on caging minorities
they suspect of being illegaly registered. The emails were caught by georgewbush.org, a parody site by mistake and reveal the level of GOP evil. These spreadsheets listing these minority voters was listed "caging" !!!

8. The fact that they would label their unethical and
probably illegal activities "caging" says it all.

3. Here is a letter I wrote to Civil Rights Leaders
Dear Civil Rights advocate:

I don't know if you are aware yet, but through a twist of fate, it has been discovered that high level Republican executives within the RNC AND Bush campaign have been involved in a coordinated "Caging" effort in Florida. Apparantly, they had accidentally sent some emails to a spoof site, "Georgewbush.org" instead of "georgewbush.com". The spoof cite found it their civic duty to publish the emails on thier site.

The emails can be seen here:
http://georgewbush.org/deadletteroffice/#caging
http://georgewbush.org/deadletteroffice/#caging2

A related article by Greg Palast for BBC has unearthed the definition of "caging" an election and found a very disturbing fact: caging is the INTENTIONAL disenfranchisement of minority voters. Specifically, the emails in question contain the names and addresses of 1836 voters in the African American sections of Jacksonville county. The Republicans apparantly intend to challenge these people at the polls on Tuesday.

Here is the BBC article: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/programmes/newsnight/3956129...

I am not sure what you can do at this late date but found it essential that you were made aware of these disturbing facts.

Here are the Republican insiders that were included on the email and apparantly directly involved in intentionally disenfranchising African Americans.

"Tim Griffin - Research Director and
Deputy Communications Director" <tgriffin@rnchq.org >
"Kelly Porter" <kporter@rpof.org >
"Lindy Landreaux - Political" <LLandreaux@rnchq.org >
"Miriam Moore - Research/Communications" <MMoore@rnchq.org >
"Victoria Newton - Research/Communications" <VNewton@rnchq.org >
"Shawn Reinschmiedt - Research/Communications" <SReinschmiedt@rnchq.org >
"Stephen Shiver" <sshiver@rpof.org >

Thank you for your time and attention.

New Florida Vote Scandal Feared
By Greg Palast
BBC

Wednesday 27 October 2004

A secret document obtained from inside Bush campaign headquarters in Florida suggests a plan - possibly in violation of US law - to disrupt voting in the state's African-American voting districts, a BBC Newsnight investigation reveals.

Two e-mails, prepared for the executive director of the Bush campaign in Florida and the campaign's national research director in Washington DC, contain a 15-page so-called "caging list".

It lists 1,886 names and addresses of voters in predominantly black and traditionally Democrat areas of Jacksonville, Florida.

An elections supervisor in Tallahassee, when shown the list, told Newsnight: "The only possible reason why they would keep such a thing is to challenge voters on election day."

Ion Sancho, a Democrat, noted that Florida law allows political party operatives inside polling stations to stop voters from obtaining a ballot.
