14. liberDave - proceed with caution....do not trust Tweety. He'll rip the
rug out from under you. He is a propagandist for the right 99.99999 per cent of the time. He has been vile in his smears of Dems. Last night was one of his worst.
9. OMG Matthews just said that if half the country believes Saddam had WMD
then the MSM in this country hasn't been doing its job. No. Kidding. A clue! He bought a clue! It won't last, but he really bought one! :toast: Chris Matthews is useless, truly. Never the same from day to day.
he always swings back and forth, but even when he's on our side he isn't usually as forceful as he was tonight. Saying the media hadn't done their job, etc.
If anyone saw the segment on the reliability of the reporting of the 377 Tons of missing explosives at the al Qaqaa weapon's complex and John Kerry's response to it, you would think that Matthews was more concerned that this matter was more important as a possible dirty political trick than an important national security matter where the President of the United State might have failed to see that our troops and our country were safe and protected!
Then he really didn't state his opinion or say anything on Evan Thomas or Ron Regan Jr.'s response when John Fund said that the Media was getting back at Bush because of Bush’s LIE on WMD's!
He also cut off Ron Regan Jr.'s from further responding to him and Fund after making his point about George Bush lying when he says that John Kerry would Not defend our country against terrorists but would wait for a vote by other nations to do anything
It just makes me angry when he has gone on and on for months about Kerry’s flip-flop about going to war and funding the war and Kerry never having a Plan to end the war. He just does not get it. Having Iraqis loot munition complexes before or after the war in April 2003 put our soldiers in harms way. Bush did not have a plan to protect soldiers and civilians and win the peace.
