Eugene of Truth and Hope got Donna Marsh on Randi Rhodes today.

That was such a moving segment about her daughter at the WTC. Randi handled it well. Here is Eugene's email tonight. For those of you who do not know, Eugene is a CA Republican who supported Dean,and he like many have stayed around to support Kerry. He had no party anymore.

We shot footage all day with Donna Marsh O'Connor, who lost her daughter & unborn grandchild on 9/11. We are literally editing the footage right now in the hopes of having it put to Beta tomorrow in time to get out for airing. While we were having a meal across from Ground Zero, I called the Randi Rhoades show & was able to get Donna on. Her conversation was very moving, her sentiments & story are very powerful. This day was powerful & moving beyond description. I was humbled that Donna would share her story with me & proud that she would share it with the world. She talked about taking her grief & turning it into power, because the 9/11 families are talked about as being victims constantly & she does not want to be thought of as a victim. She talked about her anger that this President is using her daughters death as a reason to push his agenda & go to war against a country which was no threat.

I came out here just for this, and have never been to NYC before. We had the privilege of going past the gates which surround ground zero, once a police officer discovered that a 9/11 family member was in our party. I cannot share but that I am moved, humbled & honored to have been there today and that I am even more resolved to do my utmost to elect John Kerry after seeing that hole in the Earth & remembering how we felt that day & the way our President has twisted & used those feelings. We must do all we can to help her get this message out.

We are on the air in Ohio beginning Friday, through Monday, and another Iowa station has been added as well. Tomorrow I am finalizing our buy for another Iowa station: KWQC in Scott county. Iowa was won by Gore in 2000 by only 4,000 votes. Gore won Scott county by 3,000 votes. If it comes down to Iowa, it could come down to Scott county to pick our President. Some others think so too, President Bush was at the station on Monday & the sales director told me that Kerry is there tomorrow & Bush again over the weekend. We're going to get as much coverage on this station as possible. At this point I am buying through the weekend, including the Iowa V Illinois football game, which is a huge draw.

I only have until 2pm tomorrow EST to send out orders to new stations for airing over the weekend. Then, I will have until 5pm PST on Friday to send out orders for Monday airing. I will be able to increase buys on stations we have already sent our media too, but not add new stations. Therefore the next few hours overnight tonight & through the afternoon tomorrow are key. When Donna almost lost her composure there towards the
end is when I started crying.

Hedlund. He's been so much help through all of this and now in the last stretch.

It reminded me of the truth of what happened on 911 and the crass attempt by this unelected bozo to capitalize on the grief. It's easy to forget where you were that day. I was lucky, out of harms way. Many of my staff had family members who were RIGHT THERE and I had friends who were RIGHT THERE who sent me narratives of their experiences. I believe we need a SHOAH for 911 victims and those other millions of Americans affected by that horrible day.
I am a tax director so I was working like a beast to make sure our return was ready to be filed by 9/15. I had actually been sleeping in the hotel next door to my office as due to staff shortage, we were barely going to make the deadline. On 9/11 I had been home and was driving to work to finalize the return. I live in Rohnert Park, CA and for those of you who know the area, I had just reached the crest of the Cotati grade, listening to Bob and Sheri when they said, Oh! a plane hit thw WTC and ...nothing...confusion... so I switched to KCBS news and you know the rest....I worked across the street from the TransAmerica pyramid so they made us go home...I was not in New York, but I and many of us have not stopped grieving. The idiot in chief won't let us grieve.
