No Matter What Happens on Monday We Must Be United!!!!
With all of the divisive debate we've had lately, I want to try to put everything within the great sweep of things of things.

We must all remember that no matter what happens on Monday and beyond, we are all Democrats, and any one of the candidates is eons better than GWB. The stakes this time are simply too high for division after the primaries, as many on this board can attest to. We have too much to lose if we are divided.

In the grand scheme of things what unites us is MUCH MUCH MUCH greater than that which divides us! As Benjamin Franklin once said, "We must all hang together, or we shall all surely hang seperately.". Do not doubt that the vast GOP machine will try to divide us both during and after the primary. THEY have as much to lose(and possibly even more) as we have to gain on November 2nd. We are much better than to let them decide who will speak for us. If it's paid for by the RNC, the Club for Growth, or god knows what other right wing organization, IGNORE IT!!!!!

I'm confident that if we all stick together, we can stick it to the Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld/Ashcroft/Fallwell/Robertson regime en masse. Think of the fun that will be!

REMEMBER, MONDAY IS NOT THE END OF THE BEGINNING OF THE DEMOCRATIC NOMINATION, IT IS THE BEGINNING OF THE END OF THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION!

START COUNTING THE DAYS UNTIIL NOVEMBER 2ND, AND GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE AND THEIR CANDIDATES ON MONDAY.

LET THE REVOLUTION BEGIN!

7. 291
days until Election Day.

We'll see a lot more infighting between camps before it's over. That's normal and healthy. Will Rogers said back in the 1930s, "I'm not a member of any organized political party - I'm a Democrat."

Just remember that primaries are like fighting with your brothers. Whoever wins, you're still brothers.

9. Love that quote
Just as long as it doesn't turn too ugly, I don't want a wounded duck as our candidate.

10. Right you are Adjoran...
Arguing points between candidates is normal and takes place in every race Dem or Rep.

I'm united with all of you/fellow Dems. Bring on the election and then let's party when we win in Nov. Weeeeeeeeeeee :toast:

Good luck to all.

12. Agreed
I personally want Howard Dean to win, but I will wholeheartedly support the Democratic nominee no matter who he or she may be. Remember, our goal isn't to defeat other Democrats, but to defeat Bush and get this country moving again!

My sentiments exactly. Nothing is more important than removing Bush from the White House.
