What to do when you get in an argument with a freeper...

I think the best solution is to call him on it. Say, "I tell you what, you get your proof on that topic(lie), and I will get together mine", "Show me an article, document, whatever that proves you are right and I will do the same." My point is that they can't do it, and both you and they will know it.

All they have are lies by Fox, Limpball, Bush, Cheney, etc...

Here are some examples of statements(lies) made by these idiots.

"Kerry is lying about the missing weapons"
"Kerry didn't deserve his medals"
"Kerry is a flip-flopper"
"Kerry has changed his mind on the war so many times"
"BUSH IS NOT A LIAR, WAHHHH!!!"

"Kerry should stop telling lies about Bush and the Draft"

...but I'm a card-carrying member of the Reality-based Community."

I recommend a sugar beet, but a garden beet is also satisfying.

They're already senseless. I just tell them I can't vote for anyone as unchristian as Bush and walk away.

You'd be surprised at how hard that one hits them.

I sometimes like to agree with 'em and just say, "I can't decide if it's the spiraling deficits or the cavalier commencement of an unwinable war that makes me love him more, how 'bout you?"

Kerry has NEVER changed his mind on the war. Not ONCE. Read his comments in the Congressional Record when he voted to authorize the use of force ONLY IF diplomacy and inspections failed.

The 9/11 Commission and the CIA both investigated the issue and both found no collaborative relationship. Were there links? Sure, but nothing of any substance. There was a link between Saddam and Rumsfeld (there's a picture of them shaking hands in 1983). Therefore, Rumsfeld must be linked to Saddam and, therefore, linked to 9/11!!

I've just begun telling them it's like playing whack a mole. You show them the facts, they pop back up 5 seconds later and repeat the exact same shit, word for word. I'm done talking to these asshats and I let them know loud and clear, and exactly why.
