(Oregon is vote-by-mail)

This compares with 37% of ballots in on the 9th reporting day in the 2000 election.

Looking at stats for (my own) Multnomah and Washington Counties, I'm urged to speculate that the numbers would be even higher but that the mail, counting, and reporting mechanisms are just a bit overwhelmed in some of the higher population areas.

But 49% of the Lane County vote in is always fine by me.

It looks to me like, even with all of the additional registered voters this year, we are going to have a higher voting rate than the 80% we had in 2000. On edit: some very crude math leads me to believe that Oregon has about 200,000 more registered voters than it did in 2000. As of August, about Dems had a new voter advantage of roughly 20,000 on the Rs. (edited)

That will be great for Oregon and the United States, and bad for George W. Bush (unless, as some suspect, he just really wants to get out of the White House).

And the Party is at the Convention Center right across the Willamette
on the MAX line on Tuesday night, I will be there at 6pm-
After I spend the day at the Kerry office helping out

I sent my ballot in the day i got it in the male.
This is the best news of all, its going to be a landslide for Kerry

9. Looks like an old home.
I was a toddler in Madison in 1963-1964.

Family moved to Black Earth, WI 1965-1969.

Fond and vivid memories of where you are.
