4. Talking about Bush romanticized for "seeing inside Putin's soul"
and that that concerns Clark.

This guy is brilliant. Flawless in this press conference.

16. Amazing. The same old, same old
questions, for the most part. WWIII blah blah Hugh Shelton blah blah "Inconsistency" on the war blah blah....ZZZZZzzzzzzzzzz.

Rubin is a true mensch to be so patient, but of course as a diplomat that's his forte and his job.

Guess I should be pleased that 4 months into Clark's candidacy, with his steady rise in the polls, and with Rove now going through a box of Depends per day, this hoary ole crap is the best they can come up with?

17. He is cute. And I love your sig pic too.
This Big Dog fan is tockled pink how everyone loves to associate with Clinton. Especially since for the past 3 years the press advanced the case that his name is poison. Take that media! And Al Gore too! :-)

7. He just COMPLETELY debunked the drudge article on Clark
And he gracefully submitted that Drudge is a RNC tool. This guy has excellent presence.

12. That was a spot on "debunk"
and I am going to save the transcript from this Press Club speech. It's THE perfect debunker! He explained all the crap that has been hurled Clark's way and did it well. C-SPAN does have transcripts, don't they?

9. I watched the whole thing
It was truly horrible. I have been a democrat for 30 years. This guy must think I am a sheep to believe someone decides from a laundry list of issues and decides what party he belongs to.

18. you didn't get the memo?
The party of tolerance and inclusion has become a country club for leftist liberals,
no moderates allowed here...move along now...

I'm glad a good amount of people realize how stupid this "life long democrat" stuff is. American Express takes lenght of membership into consideration, the Democratic party shouldn't

13. Funny you mentioned sheep. Here's my signature line on e-mail :
"Are you a republican in sheep's closing?"
Clark: I never thought of Democrats as sheep"

This actually took place, would you believe it?
And how did you like Rubin other than that? Better or worse than "Enough with NATO, negotiations, scmegotiations, let's go to war already"? Any opinion on that?

11. In a remarkable coincidence, Drudge was followed by RNC's Gillespie in the
same effort. Thanks for the reminder, james! How much more transparent can it be? And why do DU-ers still use Drudge (RNC tool) as a source for anything? Very, very disturbing to me.

19. I also saw the whole thing.
Jamie Rubin was spot on. I took special note that Rubin said that Gillespie of the RNC started that stuff about Clark's testimony. Earlier on C-Span, Brian Lamb made a special point to read the Wall Street Journal editorial about Clark's testimony. Then while waiting for Rubin come on, Lamb noted that there weren't very many people there and perhaps people were not interested in what Rubin had to say.

Well, I suppose the right-wing media wasn't interested in the truth.
