Is this how the forum should collectively act? If so, let us know here (as I teacher I know how important positive reinforcers are) and then please lock this thread (cause I don't know if it belongs here). Thanks.

From what I can tell, things seem noticeably more civil in here than they were earlier in the week, which was the whole point. But I guess the real question is whether people actually prefer the message board like this, and I can't answer that.

I'm doing my best to give people what they want. But you know that old saying about "be careful what you ask for..."
