Rabid right wingnut anti-Dean site--contains link to "Stop Dean"
The right wingnuts are definitely after him now--not only in the media (as they have been for many months already) but now on the web.

4. Do you think it will convince people that he is a liberal?

That might help him in some states.

5. Oh, this is too funny
Blog for America brags about the Iowa effort. Just another example of why America really needs to know more about this yahoo. Head on over and read it. Then come back and sign our letter to Howard Dean, calling for a Dean apology for the radical anti-Americanism of MoveOn.org.

What, does Dean control MoveOn too?

Bwaahhahaaha

29. They apparently think so!
And the bit about Trent Lott is timely because of Chimpy's recent "recess appointment" of Pickering to the bench!

Because, otherwise you should really edit your title

I quickly read the "about us section" so maybe you're right, I don't know.

26. HA!
This is true. One of those guys was stupid enough to send a death threat to a DUer--and not just any DUer, nah, it had to be one who is running for Congress!

LOL! (My sides hurt!)

So now along come these right-wingnut youngsters...and they mention, literally minutes after I posted this thread, that DU has noticed them...

I wonder if this was a class assignment or a blast-fax assignment?

My sides hurt, I tell you!

19. Here is their letter to Governor Dean...
Dear Governor Dean,

Early in your campaign for President, you won the MoveOn.org primary and received the support of their radical left wing members. As a result, the MoveOn.org members lavished hundreds of thousands of dollars on your campaign, you received massive publicity due to their support, and you were catapulted into the position of frontrunner for the Democrat nomination, in part because of the work of MoveOn.org.

Your campaign is now inextricably tied to MoveOn.org. There is no disputing that you are their candidate.

But now, MoveOn.org has gone over the line. On January 4th, MoveOn.org posted an ad on their website comparing Bush to Hitler. When they were criticized for it, they backpedaled and said the ad was posted accidentally. Then last night, at a ball sponsored by MoveOn.org, a group of celebrity speakers made the same comparisons in a series of obscenity-laced tirades against George W. Bush.

Here's what Comedian Margaret Cho said: "Despite all of this stupid bullsh-- that the Republican National Committee, or whatever the f--- they call them, that they were saying that they're all angry about how two of these ads were comparing Bush to Hitler? I mean, out of thousands of submissions, they find two. They're like fu--ing looking for Hitler in a haystack. You know? I mean, George Bush is not Hitler. He would be if he fu--ing applied himself."

Cho wasn't the only one to talk like this. Rapper Chuck D referred to American government under Bush Administration as a "cancer of civilization." He went on to say, "But truly, seriously, quite frankly, the people are smart enough to realize that the world is important and we only have one life , that's tired of this bullsh--, or better than that, tired of this Bushsh--"

Governor, these are your supporters, and this is what they are saying. Their behavior is shameful. Rhetoric like this has no place in the American political debate. You should not be aligned with these types of people. After all, when Senator Lott made his infamous comments at Strom Thurmond's birthday party, you attacked him and said he should give up his leadership position. But you went even further - attacking other Republicans including George Bush , merely for being associated with Lott.

But if Senator Lott's remarks were intemperate or offensive, then the remarks made by your MoveOn.org supporters were poisonous and indefensible.

Governor Dean, this isn't about liberal vs. conservative or democrat vs. republican. This is about cleaning up the American political system, a goal you claim to share. It's time for you to stop being a demagogue, and start putting your money where your mouth is. Therefore, I demand that you immediately condemn what happened at the MoveOn.org ball last night, and permanently disavow this group and their tactics.

Your failure or refusal to do so will considerably tarnish your efforts to seek the Presidency of these United States.

Sincerely,

Scared much? They are fearful of Dean!

22. Yeah. Freep types used to make fun of Dean. I've watched
the Dean threads in freeperland for a long time. A few freeps were actually pretty astute and realized that Dean was a threat to Chimpy from the start. The rest, however, missed the point entirely.

They're about to learn something regarding our Democratic Republic...
