Take PBS quiz on candidates' stand on 14 issues
You say which of the statements you agree with on each of 14 issues and then your results show who made the statement. Very enlightening quizz. Also has some deeper than usual coverage of candidates' stands on the issues.

Have fun with the quizz.

6. One note

I also found it interesting how over the board I was spread out. Really, though, many of those could have gone other ways; several of my choices were arbitrary decisions between nearly identical statements. I think if I had known who was making the statements, I might have rated them differently.

7. Thinly spread across the canditates
I guess that's why I've had trouble getting behind any one of them. There were quite a few "I'd really have trouble voting for that guy" moments, so now I have to go back and see who said what.

8. Very interesting!
But, I found it really hard, too, because so many of the statements were so similar and I had to keep re-reading to distinguish which one I most agreed with.
Thanks for posting it; I'm definitely passing it on to others.

9. interesting...
I'm having problems trying not "outsmarting" the point of the quiz- as a policy dork, I've heard many of these quotes before, and connect them with a candidate... as such, my objectivity is questioned.

Hmmm. I suppose I'll continue with the quiz anyway and see if my results are consistent with my predictions.

11. Yes, interesting
I think it shows 2 things:
media coverage of all the campaigns is lousy
and
if one doesn't go to each one's site or HQ for info

One isn't getting the whole picture to really decide. However, it does show that their is a difference between any of th candidates and Bu$h!

15. I didn't copy the issues, but
I came out with Kucinich 10 issues, Gephart (WTF?!) 2 issues and Clark 2 issues.

I know One of Geps issues I chose was the welfare reform question, and one of Clarks was Marriage and Family because the reasons he gives for supporting same-sex unions are identical to mine.

16. There's something wrong with the gun control thing - I can't agree w/Dean.
I'm one of the strongest anti-gun people around. Personally, I'd be for taking every gun in America and burning them...
