My ear hurts!
I've had this problem before with wax build up and then it gets sore. I bought some de-waxer stuff, but my inner ear is still painful. My doc will not return to work until tuesday, so I'm asking the du doctors for help.

3. dangerous
it can be VERY dangerous if you have a hole in your eardrum, the de waxer can allow bacteria to develop in your inner ear, which can result ina nasty ear infection...I jsut recently had to get a small hole in my ear drum fixed to stop this from recurring

get some cotton balls, and put a small one in your ear, this will stop moisture from getting in there, the moisture causes most of the pain

I feel for you, i hope it gets better

...here at DU who was able to diagnose illness based on appearance. I think the poster is hoping for the same.

7. hayfever medication to dry the ear
my sinuses drain everywhere. out mmy ears out my nose and down my throat. and Tylenol allergy sinus helps clear my ears.
and that wax removal stuff is over priced. heck hydrogen peroxide costs under 50¢ on sale now.
