There has to be more than a few Bush Appointees who are PISSED OFF
w Bush for his lack of Statesmanship, Clarity, Intellect, Timing, Wisdom, etc... that thwey will vote Kerry just to piss off the jerk.

They wanted 8 years and instead face only 4.... resume time....Only because Bush Blew it w his arrogance and listening to Cheney instead of the Basement Crew. Many of the appointees must feel so frustrated they will go Kerry.....

Come, we go Kimo's, I buy first round....

1. Certainly is a high level one
Colin Powell is not campaigning for Bush. Bush* has totalled Powell's reputation. I can only imagine the anger he has towards him and howmany he will take with him.

Of course, I assume that Powell is deep down honorable. I have little evidence to back that up these days.

Take care of HI for us, opihimoimoi - tell nme it really isn't in play!

2. Powell totaled his own reputation.
He had a million opportunities to tell the truth and took none of them.

3. You beat me to it aquart....
That's exactly what I was going to say. Blaming shrub for Powell's and McCain's lack of honor and integrity is letting them both off the hook. They're grown men and know what shrub is.

4. Lunabush...I am almost certain Hawaii will go Blue
I would be astonished if we went Red. After all, the Packers kicked the Skins ass today and you know what that means... Bush is Toast.

Its the Curse of the Skins in play here.

6. THEY HAVE ALREADY APPLIED...
...for "conversion" of their political appointments to career jobs. You know them when you see them....meanass, smug muthafuckas who show up in your workcenter, swaggering, taking long lunches, and telling war stories about how important they once were. Suggesting, like the bullshit artists that they are, that they still have clout. Trying to intimidate their first line supervisor with stories of connections and important assignments.

I hope Kerry CLEANS HOUSE. I hope he invokes the probationary period on every single one of these bastards. They are all souless, hateful NEOCONS, and everyone within all sectors of the cabinet can point them out like the Quislings that they are. Shave those heads, top them with tar and feathers, and march them through the corridors of government to shame and ridicule. They've made the lives of the careerists, and the poor military bums enduring a W assignment, an absolute LIVING, BREATHING HELL.

If you buy a house in greater DC, check the provenance. If it belonged to a political appointee, after you have it fumigated, bring in an exorcist.

the Devil Himself.

9. But, isn't Cheney going there to
show the Republican Governor how to cheat? What other reason has he for going to Hawaii. (Or should I say, intimidating her into cheating?)

10. Paul O'Neill said Bushler wanted Iraq War as Job 1.
O'Neill spoke the truth. And he is a corporatist turd of the first rank.

I'll buy the next round.
