Is Quinnipac a good pollster? They have * up 8 points in FL

Just when I thought Kerry was looking very well in Florida comes this poll: http://www.quinnipiac.edu/x13769.xml

No internals whatsoever... in particular, no way to know if they're oversampling pukes, though I'm sure they are.

I would appreciate some input about quinnipac specifically. I know that all polls are crap and such.

in this election. i think this is the same group that's had new jersey tied at times.

Which are prone to alot of swing...I wouldn't worry about it...reports so far are of very high turnout!

There's nine or ten polling organizations polling Florida and the average is a 1% lead for the chimp...

It's funny...

CBS did a poll last week that showed Kerry with a nine point lead in Florida... They spiked it because the results didn't look right compared to other polls and they didn't want to affect the election with a bogus poll...

Quinnipac shows no such compunction...

Meaningless trivia but the median lead would make for a better representation...

Zobgy,Insider Advantage ,Gallup and Quinnipac are polling the same people* at the same time and coming to dramatically different conclusions..


One of those organizations is going to look like a klutz...

Rasmussen is showing a much closer race in his inside polls. And Mason-Dixon routinely overamples repukes.

I would take this as not great news from Florida.

Gallup. Insider Advantage, and Zogby are polling the same universe of voters at the same time...


A dispassionate observer would be forced to conclude that Quinnipac is the outlier...

Sorry to post this here, but I don't have the priveleges yet to post new threads. This is a local Ohio station that covers the entire southeast quadrant of the state, plus a populous chunk of WVA. I used to live here, and it's killing me their current poll results.
