Slate gives fla and ohio to bush, but...
That they say both states are 50-50. Polls all over the place.

Bush needs both, Kerry only needs one of the states. So they say even though they have Bush with 286 electoroal votes, Kerry has a 75 percent chance of winning.

Look at the election scorecard at slate. This is also assuming Bush wins Iowa and New Mexico.

4. Most polls favor Kerry in both Ohio and Fla.
Most polls favor Kerry in both Ohio and Fla. I think Fla. is in the bag no matter what, lots of momentum for Kerry there.

6. IF we had a FAIR election, that would be true....
But we have LePore and a whole army of black boxes to deal with.

I'm still skeptical that Florida will end up in Kerry's column: NOT because I think bush will get more votes, but because the republican mafia runs the Florida elections.

8. I'm most concerned about Florida. Jeb won't give it away.
I've been assuming Florida = Bush all along, if Kerry gets it, it'll have to be by a lot, and it'll be gravy.

5. Turnout in those two states is key.
The longer the lines, the better for the K/E ticket.

9. I'm hoping for OH
because if we get that one, Jebbie and his jackboots can HAVE Florida.
